CMC Woodwind Ensemble

The Woodwind Ensemble provides the opportunity for intermediate-level winds players to practice elements essential to ensemble playing: accurate execution of rhythms, dynamic balance, intonation, and blending of tone. This ensemble fosters a relaxed atmosphere in which to build upon musical skills, collaborate with others, and create a joyful sound. Participants are welcome to bring in arrangements for the group. The focus of the Winds Ensemble is primarily on classical music, but other musical styles may be introduced depending on the interests of the participants.
