We are looking for a part time OR full-time aide to work M-F 11:30 - 5:30 or 9 - 5:30 with the children in our TK & School Age program. Must have experience working as teacher in a classroom including implementing curriculum activities & helping with homework. All candidates must be comfortable interacting with parents and staff and changing diapers.
Applicants need to have at least 6 ECE units and must be enrolled to complete their 9 units (required by Law) and be able to provide a copy of transcripts. Must also have fingerprint clearance or be willing to be fingerprinted prior to begin work at the center. A pre-employment physical and T.B. Test as well as proof of MMR and Tdap shots must be completed prior to starting work or have a copy of each that is less than one year old. You will also be asked to complete or provide verification of completion of a First Aid and CPR certification as well as Mandated Reporter Training, Sexual Harassment Training, Water Safety Training, and Integrated Pest Management Training.
We offer paid holidays after 3 months of hire and you earn PTO (Paid Time Off) from date of hire and use the Cal-savers retirement plan. We have a 50/50 paid Kaiser Medical Plan with Delta Dental and Chiropractic available after the required 3 month waiting period for new hires.
