RE: BASKETBALL COACH for part time position at City of Santa Cruz Summer & Fall 2024
Rebound Basketball Academy is currently looking for committed and determined BASKETBALL COACH for part time position at City of Santa Cruz from Summer 2024. Applicants should have coaching experience and/or knowledge working with children ranging in ages from 5 to 14 years and have the ability to transport themselves and equipment to the location. This is a part time job for a college student or someone adult who has Saturday morning or/and Wednesdays afternoons available. The philosophy of RBA programs is to engage children in learning both sport-specific activities and life-skills, in a fun and positive atmosphere. Applicants must be able to embrace these ideas while providing strong leadership and commitment to program participants. Must have a passion and be excellent with children. Good sense of humor, flexible, energetic, and with great self-management skills are all required. The position is an enrichment program and many of the participants are learning the activity for the first time. This is a curriculum-based program and runs round year. The schedule is on WEDNESDAYS from 3:00 to 5:00pm, and SATURDAYS from 9:00am to noon. Summer 2024 schedule on Saturday from 10am to noon only, Fall schedule, first week of September to Mid-December is on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
