Bearing Engineering Company is looking for a Customer Service Representative / Driver for our warehouse in San Leandro, CA.
Minimum requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous customer service and logistics experience preferred.
Positive attitude.
Professional and clean appearance.
Clean DMV & drug screen required.
Excellent communication, literacy, and numeracy skills. Ability to communicate clearly both written and orally is vital.
Ability to function well as part of a team.
Diligent attention to safety.
High level of efficiency and attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
Bilingual in English/Spanish is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
Delivery to customers and inner company transfers via company van.
Loading and unloading of products for customers and freight forwarders.
General safety and operation knowledge of walk-behind and ride-on equipment shop forklifts.
Account for inventory control by following standard operating procedures.
Warehouse and office upkeeping.
Meeting and complying to all of Bearing Engineering operational procedures and QC standards.
Account for any other duties as assigned by Bearing Engineering management team.
Treat customers as well as team members in a kind and respectful manner. The golden rule applies everyday at Bearing Engineering.
Full time position; Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
Health benefits eligibility after 60 days.
90 day probationary period.
2 weeks paid vacation time after 1 year of employment.
Compensation: $21.00 (commensurate with experience) - with health, 401k and vacation time benefits.
