Immediate Opening: Office Assistant (Full or Part Time)!
We are looking for an Office Assistant to assist with our day to day operations at a small family plumbing company located in San Jose, CA that has been in operation since 1972.
Communication & Customer Service Expectations:
Answering and directing phone calls: This includes taking messages and transferring calls to the appropriate person or department.
Providing information: Answering general inquiries from staff, clients, or the public.
Managing correspondence: Handling mail, emails, and other forms of communication.
Communicating with staff: Conveying information and updates to colleagues.
Administrative & Clerical Task Expectations:
Maintaining records: Creating, updating, and organizing both physical and digital files.
Data entry: Inputting information into databases and other systems.
Filing: Organizing and storing documents, both physical and electronic.
Typing and document preparation: Creating, formatting, and editing documents.
Operating office equipment: Using computers, telephones, printers, copiers, scanners, and fax machines.
Assisting Dispatch: Create work orders and maintain customer records.
