The SAN MATEO COUNTY FAIR is seeking a Guest Services staff members to work in a fun and friendly environment during the San Mateo County Fair.

This is a seasonal position from approximately May 29 through June 9.
Must have an open schedule to be available day and/or evenings and be available to work on the weekends of June 1-2 and June 8-9.
Pay is $20.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include but are not limited to the following:
Greet Fair guests and provide general Fair information.
Resolve guest complaints.
Assist with the rental of strollers and wheelchairs.
Assist with the opening and closing of booths and the proper storage of guest services equipment.
Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Punctuality is a must as this is time sensitive position.
Excellent customer service skills and a strong ability to interact with all in a professional, helpful, courteous and tactful manner.
Excellent oral communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with the public.
Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with management, co-workers, clients and customers using principles of good customer service.
Requires being responsible, reliable, and dependable to fulfill job obligations.
Available to work days, evenings and weekends.
