Position: Customer Care Specialist

Compensation: $25/hr

Location: San Francisco, CA 94110 - Hybrid (Minimum 3 days per week in-office)

The Role

We are looking for a Customer Care Specialist to join our team and be the frontline in interacting with our customers, providing thoughtful and efficient solutions to their inquiries. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including responding promptly to customer messages and inquiries, working with our engineering and marketing teams to respond to debug complex issues, and identifying opportunities to improve the customer experience through creating support content.

As our product is technical in nature, it is expected that the candidate be able to handle a variety of queries ranging from sales-related questions from current and prospective music creators and podcasters to technical support questions which may involve audio recording, WiFi, and Bluetooth technologies.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational and written skills and a passion for providing excellent customer service to learn how a consumer technology startup operates. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be able to multitask effectively and have excellent communication skills.

Ideal Candidate

We are seeking someone who:

- Possesses excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Has a strong customer service orientation and the ability to handle various customer needs with patience and empathy.

- Demonstrates a good technical understanding, especially of audio systems, consumer electronics, mobile apps and networking technologies (WiFi, Bluetooth) to provide effective troubleshooting and support.

- Is organized, can manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and is adaptable to a fast-paced environment.

Commitment

This role will require a minimum of 20 hours per week with responsibilities expanding based on performance. The candidate would be expected to work in-person from our Mission office at least 3 days per week.
