Customer Account Specialist

Position Summary: Customer Account Specialist interfaces directly with customers, Reps, Distributors, LEMO Sales Team and various departments to manage and grow the direct sales

Duties:

Achieves and maintains rapport with customers, and Sales channels by providing the best possible service

Processes sales order, change orders, formal quotes, RMAs, as well as expedite requests on behalf of customers

Provides appropriate and timely feedback to customers in case of unexpected delays or change in delivery timing

Assists the Finance department in maintaining customer accounts and supplying information for initial and subsequent credit checks

Documents all customer correspondence in appropriate database

Answers intermediate level technical and price/delivery inquiries for customers, Sales Reps and Distributors

Offers administrative and commercial guidance to the Sales Team

Reviews order activities of assigned accounts for completeness and accuracy coordinates modifications with necessary individuals

Proactively reviews customer activities (orders/demand) to ensure a consistent supply of LEMO connectors/cable assemblies

Prepares and provides reports of account activity to Sales Team, as requested

Must have a thorough understanding of all assigned accounts to prepare monthly forecasting spreadsheets

SMART monitoring and updates, initialize all quotes and update active tasks along with your sales team member

Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) process

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent; AA degree preferred; technical background preferred

Five (5) years experience performing Customer Service

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and also interface with all co-workers across departments

Well organized, pays attention to detail, and able to work with complex information

Excellent analysis, problem-solving, multi-tasking skills and follow through

Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
