The Job

We are a small, boutique, very organized, cohesive team looking for an executive-level, experienced professional administrator with strong HR background to help us in our Supported Living Services agency. You will be working flexible hours in our cozy Novato office and remotely as needed, as a direct report to the Executive Director, administering, hiring and retaining companions for adults with developmental disabilities. You must live in Marin County or within 15 miles or approximately a 15-minute drive to Marin County, because some of the meetings are on-call.

The position requirements include:

Professional administration experience at the highest level of literacy and competence

Strong knowledge of California labor law and HR

Competence with EDD hearings and claims

Willingness and proven ability to lead firmly, confidently and compassionately

Knowledge of SSI, SSA, Section 8, recertification, EBT

Being a self-starter who is pro-active, meticulous, and self-accountable for deadlines and responsibilities

Document completions, writing and placing ads, managing resumes, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, off boarding, training, corrections, conflict, records, and retention

Google Docs, basic spreadsheets, time sheets and basic Quickbooks

High level of intelligence and flexibility

Background in caregiving agency a plus

Bachelor's Degree

You will be the right-hand person, direct report, assistant, and team mate to the Executive Director. We are a small agency so the job will include higher level administration as well as HR. The needs of the position are not specialized strictly to HR.

Pay and Benefits

You will be offered:

$50.00 an hour, for approximately 10-15 hours a week depending upon what comes up. These hours will vary and may change as the job expands or contracts.

$20 a month toward your data plan

.67 a mile for all miles driven for work

You will have an option of signing up for CalSavers IRA plan which we will administer for you

40 hours of sick leave

Health insurance premium paid up to set amount after six months

Discretionary bonuses
