Job Description:
Reliance Construction is seeking an experienced Construction Field Manager to oversee projects as the main point of contact between our crews, contractors, customers, and corporate office. As a hazardous materials abatement company, this role ensures smooth project operations while adhering to all relevant laws and protocols.
Responsibilities:
● Respond to customer inquiries, perform site walks, assess project requirements, and provide accurate data for proposal creation.
● Coordinate project schedules, communicate with customers, and address inquiries promptly.
Manage daily crew schedules.
● Review and clarify project scopes for the crew.
● Organize and conduct regular meetings, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and assist with payroll and HR matters.
● Manage inventory of job materials and personal protective equipment (PPE) to minimize waste.
● Conduct periodic site visits to enforce safety protocols and waste disposal compliance.
● Handle payment checks and banking tasks as required.
Experience/Requirements:
● Proven experience in a construction-related managerial role.
● Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory.
● Strong communication and leadership skills.
● Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
● Proficiency with basic office software is preferred (training provided).
● Experience with hazardous materials is a plus (training provided).
● Reliability and promptness
Working Conditions:
● Physical tasks include sitting, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs)
● Long daily drives to the job sites all over the Bay Area
● Occasionally entering hazardous materials containment (after certification).
● Availability from 7:00 AM for communication and field presence from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with occasional Saturday site visits.
