Hub is seeking a Project Finance Manager to provide support to our teams on key agency business. You must be an entrepreneurial self-starter, highly motivated problem solver, and have a sense of humor.
Your primary responsibility will be working with the Account Management team to maintain/create estimates and manage budgets. You will be our liaison with the accounting department to monitor client finances (purchase orders, freelance invoices, billing) and ensure all projects run as smoothly, money-wise, as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage client budgets with account teams to ensure that the agency’s client teams are informed and tracking against billing and budgets.
Ensure new clients and vendors are properly set-up in the system and client billing rates are accurate
Work with Account Management to facilitate client billing with accounting department based on SOW schedule, job timing etc.
Manage production purchase orders for vendors and freelancers by creating Purchase Orders and tracking within budgets. (accounting takes it from there)
Support client management with research and project management
Work with digital media department to help reconcile and learn digital media from the ground up
Prepare monthly finalized client budget
Generate actual vs. budget internal financial report to ensure profit margin; and other ad hoc reporting as needed.
Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies
Support CFO in creating and maintaining policy & procedures
ABOUT YOU:
Proficient in advanced excel/google sheet functions and formulas to perform pivot tables, charts, graphs and data capture
1-3 years of professional experience, preferably in an advertising agency environment.
Comfortable in a smaller, tight-knit office setting. Being anonymous is not an option here. Also, if you don’t have a sense of humor, you will hate working with us, and the feeling will probably be mutual.
Acute attention to detail, with an emphasis on consistency and continuity
Ability to work closely with senior level account management, finance and client counterparts
Must have ability to multi-task.
Bachelor’s degree in math or finance related field, OR a background in marketing/advertising
Must be dependable and trustworthy so we can tell you all our secrets.
