Scale AI, Inc. in San Francisco, CA seeks a Finance Manager.
Responsibilities: Conducting financial analyses related to investment strategies, facilitating ad-hoc analyses, and owning special projects, such as supporting the launch of new product lines, assessing new risks and opportunities for corporate initiatives, and driving internal initiatives to improve data infrastructure and reporting; examining the company’s financial statements provided by the accounting team during the month-end close process to determine the company’s value and ensure accurate general ledger and company-wide financial statement reporting; employing financial models to develop solutions to financial problems such as COGS forecast and KPIs to assist with the decision-making that aligns with the company’s objectives; presenting plans of action, weekly and monthly financial reporting, presentations, and other critical analysis requests; informing investment decisions by analyzing financial information to forecast business, industry, or economic conditions; and other duties as assigned. Salary range: $170K - $190K. Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental U.S., but will report to headquarters in San Francisco, CA.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, or related field (or foreign equivalent).
Requirements: 2 years of experience in the job offered or related position; 2 years of experience preparing regular financial reports and other presentation materials for key stakeholders; 2 years of experience conducting financial and economic analyses to identify financial trends and generate informative business insights; 2 years of experience tracking business performance by way of planning, budgeting, and forecasting; and 2 years of experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to manage financial planning and analysis processes.
