This is an opportunity to join one of the premier business management/CPA firms and work in the world of musicians and entertainers in an in-office, non-remote, full time position.

Zeisler, Zeisler, Rawson and Johnson LLP is looking for an experienced and highly motivated team member to assist with all activities and services related to touring artists and their related entities. You will be an integral part of a small team dedicated to a select group of the firm’s clients.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

Organizing and preparing weekly check runs, overseeing all aspects of accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining related internal tracking sheets. This is the primary focus of the position.

Heavy involvement in client day-to-day business management (recording bank and credit card activity, maintaining daily account balances, correspondence with clients and their representatives, etc.)

Cash management – preparing bank reconciliations, cash flow projections, monitoring all account activity and reporting to team members

Process payroll, 1099s, and monthly DE542s

Organizing, prioritizing, and managing projects and timelines for multiple clients

Occasionally assist with tour accounting, including but not limited to preparing budgets, filing tax reduction paperwork, preparing reporting for clients, managers, etc.

You should possess:

Ability to multitask while working with multiple clients and team members

Strong interpersonal skills, ability to effectively communicate and build a strong rapport with clients and their team

Ability to effectively work with co-workers, supervisors, and partner in charge

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to monitor and meet payment, reporting, and other deadlines

General ledger knowledge (debits, credits, coding transactions based on an existing chart of accounts)

Advanced Excel and Word skills

Interest in the music industry
