This position requires knowledge of standard bookkeeping practices and general accounting principles with a strong understanding of payroll processing, sales tax reporting, and a willingness to observe and understand accounting for tax preparation.

The candidate should have:
Excellent communication skills; written and verbal.
Strong organizational skills to manage a high volume of synchronized deadlines and multi-client task management.
Work well in a team, under pressure, and be able to multi-task.
Must be Computer Savvy: required to have skills with QuickBooks/Quicken, Word, Excel, Adobe PDF, web navigation, apps, and troubleshooting.
Job Duties:
Maintain books for reconciliation
Reconcile and resolve discrepancies
Process and manage AR/AP
Invoicing
Prepare/submit simple & complex payroll
Prepare/submit sales tax reports
Prepare/submit year-end 1099's
Prepare and review financials for accuracy and in preparation to review with Partners.
Communicate directly with clients to obtain information.
Prepare reports for clients upon request.
Job Type: Full/Part-time 30-40 hours a week. Monday - Friday
