Reputable CPA Firm looking for Accountant
Qualifications/Skills/Responsibilities:
General ledger accounting skills, including preparation of Adjusting Journal Entries for small business clients, some of whom don't understand accounting
Ability to solve problems and work independently
Recent income tax preparation experience including personal, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns
QuickBooks knowledge and skills, preferred but not a must
Good communication and client service skills
Adjust and close books for business clients at year end; and, assist clients with accounting matters as issues arise
CPA or Enrolled Agent helpful, but not required
Knowledge of GAAP financial statements regarding some Review and Compilation engagements we perform
Knowledge of cash basis accounting
Work will be performed in our offices (not remotely)
Prior hands-on work with Lacerte tax software preferred, but not required. Candidate will work closely with clients; thus, good people skills are a must.
These are not salaried positions; Overtime is paid at 1.5X your hourly rate.

Salary depends on experience (above amounts are estimates). Full time candidate preferred, but will consider part-time/seasonal candidates as well.
