DescriptionWe are looking for a Product Manager to help design, build, and develop big impact features that improve customer experience. This leader will solve complex problems in one of the fastest growing segments of the Retail business, Softlines (Clothing, Shoes, Jewelry, Watches, Accessories, Sports and Outdoors). A successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and working in a fast-paced environment. This role requires an individual who strives to answer business/operational questions and who works across functional boundaries. You will transform data into actionable insights and enjoy taking a data-driven approach to solving complex business problems.This role comes at the intersection of business, technology, finance, statistics, data mining, and Pricing science. To succeed in this role you should be passionate about working with large datasets and be someone who loves to bring data together to answer key business questions. You should have deep expertise in the creation and management of datasets and the proven ability to translate the data into meaningful insights. You should be comfortable using the data in financial modeling. In this role, you will have ownership of end-to-end development of reports and solutions to complex questions and you’ll play an integral role in strategic decision-making.Key job responsibilitiesKey job responsibilities: Gather data and perform sophisticated analytical exercises Employ data mining, segmentation, and other analytical techniques to capture important trends and create relevant measurement dashboards Drive standardization, simplification and automation of internal processes and data products Manage weekly and monthly business reporting and create relevant measurement dashboards Work with various stakeholders to understand business drivers, goals, and actionable outcomes using analytics Manage databases and work with technology teams to develop systems to support business intelligence needsA day in the lifeThe successful candidate will be comfortable with advanced SQL query design and data mining techniques, have strong analytical and communication skills, and have a passion for using data to drive business decisions. You attack complex business questions with data and curiosity, diving below the surface to identify the root cause. You develop strong working relationships with business partners (such as Amazon Pricing, and Vendor Management teams) to define and understand key business questions and analyze data to answer those questions – driving strategic business decisions.Basic Qualifications

Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize incoming work requests, and ensure all committed work is delivered on time

Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

Experience performing statistical analysis of data using SQL, Excel and other tools

Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight

Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Preferred Qualifications

Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market.
