Project Manager Santa Monica, CA12 MonthsJob Description:We are seeking a highly motivated individual for the role of Project Manager, Global Commercial Strategy & Operations to work in the exciting cell therapy business. This individual will work closely with cross-functional Commercial teams to provide analytics support, ensure strategy pull-through, and facilitate communication across stakeholders. This role will report directly to the Director of Strategy and Operations in the Global Commercial organization. Responsibilities (include but not limited to):- Provide support for the Global Analytics & Commercial Operations function: create and run queries to manage field alerts, compile field survey responses, and prepare reports
- Track Global Commercial strategic priorities, proactively identifying risks and opportunities and implementing corrective action plans as needed
- Liaise with cross-functional partners (e.g. sales, marketing, market access, medical affairs, operations), acting as a point of contact to ensure team actions remain in synergy
- Support newsletter production by culling and formatting relevant content
- With supervision, the Project Manager will be expected to support content preparation for executive leadership reviews
- Other duties as assigned
- Demonstrated analytical and technology skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (strong Excel and PowerPoint slide building skills are a must), content management tools (SharePoint), and project planning tools (SmartSheet).
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are essential in this collaborative work environment.
- Customer-oriented, meticulous, and adaptive.
- Must be able to work with multiple stakeholders on multiple projects with overlapping timelines.
- Needs to be able to quickly digest and prioritize information without jeopardizing the deadline.
- Ability to think critically and proactively with demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Must have strong project management skills to produce and manage a comprehensive action tracking list, and systematically complete each task.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly fluid company environment with minimal direction and able to adjust workload based upon changing priorities
- Bachelor’s degree in science, business or other fields
- 5+ years of experience (3+ postgraduate degree) in the biotech industry or consulting
- 2+ years in a management consulting firm, client-facing role, and experience especially in the Commercial organization of the pharma/biotech industry are strongly desired
- Minimum of 2 years of cross-functional team management experience
