We’re looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Timekeeping Assistant to join our team on a temporary basis through or around November 2025. In this role, you will support the payroll department by ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of payroll operations, including handling time sheets and attendance records for employees.
As a Timekeeping Assistant you will play a vital role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. You will work closely with our payroll and HR teams to ensure payroll data is correctly processed and all discrepancies are promptly addressed. Key Responsibilities:
Review and analyze payroll data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies to ensure smooth and timely payroll processing.
Process vegetable production time sheets and prepare final payroll for check processing.
Assist in processing field payroll for multiple entities, including updating payroll records for deductions as needed.
Maintain and update payroll software systems to reflect changes in personnel and relevant payroll information.
Verify attendance, hours worked, and production details, and ensure all information is accurately recorded.
Maintain payroll records, including employee transfers, resignations, and other status changes.
Organize and maintain both electronic and manual payroll filing systems.
Provide exceptional service by answering payroll-related questions and resolving any issues efficiently.
Collaborate with managers, supervisors, and employees while maintaining confidentiality and ensuring proper handling of payroll data.
Assist with additional tasks and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work well with a diverse team.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive payroll data.
Bilingual in English and Spanish required to communicate with all employees effectively.
Previous payroll or administrative experience is a plus but not required.
Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word).
