We are currently recruiting for a Laborer in the wonderful city of Santa Maria, CA. The rate of pay is $17/hr with a 20 to 25 hour a week schedule, possibly including weekends. Duties & Responsibilities:
Performs a wide variety of unskilled and semi-skilled work in operations and maintenance, including at various City facilities.
May use a variety of manual tools and small
Scope of assigned area will depend on departmental structure and is at the discretion of the department director.
Upholds the values of the organization and has strong customer service orientation.
Performs other related projects and duties as assigned.
Demonstrates regular, reliable and punctual attendance.
Dig, prune, weed, perform irrigation repairs, remove graffiti, retrieve shopping carts, paint; perform light plumbing, and oversee field maintenance.
Perform general cleaning and janitorial functions.
Skills & Qualifications
One year of experience in maintenance field work is preferred but not required
High school diploma or equivalent
