Maintenance Worker, General

CASA DORINDA, a luxury Retirement Community located in Santa Barbara, California, seeks a General Maintenance Worker to perform variety of general mechanical, electrical, plumbing and structural duties as well as inspections, servicing, repair and overhaul of equipment, facilities and vehicles. We have a 41-acre property with approximately 325 residents, as well as 300 employees. There is a Skilled Nursing Facility, Personal Care/Memory Care Center, Life Enrichment Center, Clinic, as well as a robust Food and Beverage Department. We require a high school graduate or GED; knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and mechanical, knowledge of proper and safe use of hand and power tools. Must be able to read, write and speak English, and be able to understand and follow oral and written directions in English. We require three (3) years' experience in a general maintenance position; experience at a hotel or retirement community is desired.
