Position: Full-Charge Bookkeeper / Office Manager
Location: Santa Barbara, CA (On-Site)
We are a well-established, locally owned automotive repair shop in Santa Barbara seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Full-Charge Bookkeeper and Office Manager to join our team.
This is a part-time, on-site position requiring a minimum of 4 hours per day, preferably in the morning. However, there is flexibility to tailor your schedule to best fit your needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Full-charge bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online (QBO)
Daily data entry and invoice reconciliation
Managing accounts payable and receivable
Payroll processing for a team of 6 employees
Preparing and filing quarterly and annual sales and income tax reports
Supporting day-to-day office operations and administrative functions
We work closely with an outside CPA for tax strategy and compliance. This role is intended to complement that relationship by managing our internal accounting and administrative systems efficiently.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
Strong understanding of bookkeeping/accounting principles and payroll processing
Experience with tax reporting (sales and income taxes)
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with vendors and team members
Human Resources experience is a plus
