Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assisting with opening and sorting mail for SB office and Oxnard office daily
Scan in medical records into electronic chart from mail and Provider’s buckets daily
Photocopy medical records for attorneys, physicians, patients, facilities and insurance companies with valid
patient release, create invoices, deposit checks
Process patient forms, including EDD and Disability and other forms providers need to completed
Process subpoenas, create invoices, deposit checks
Process supplementals, create invoices, deposit checks
Monitor all staff and Providers in/out boxes daily
Assist with incoming faxes
Answer telephone, take messages, and give routine information in accordance with established procedures

Medical Records bucket
Education/Licensure/Certification Requirements:
High School and/or College graduate
Completion of course in medical records technology, desired but not required
Previous experience in medical transcription preferred, but not required
Desired Skills:
Excellent phone presence
Good interpersonal skills
Possesses electronic medical record and computer skills
Knowledge of HIPAA requirements
Ability to multi-task

Excellent communication and time management skills
