Accounting Clerk

Description Accounting Clerk role available in San Mateo! This three month contract role is onsite in San Mateo, CA Monday to Friday. You will support backlog tasks and help with day to day transactions regarding billing and posting cash receipts. If you have 1-3 years of accounting experience, this role may be for you! Apply today for consideration.What you get to do to contribute to the organization: Responsible for processing & paying invoices and/or statements via ACH, Check and Online Communicate and follow up with the service team for billing discrepancies, issues, and research discrepancies Follow up and resolve open aged items Other duties and tasks as assigned Requirements Desired Experience: Ability to multi-task efficiently and to be flexible with ever-changing priorities and deadlines. Must work well with others in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment and be responsive to co-workers and colleagues. Must also work independently, with minimal supervision and have the ability to take initiative and create solutions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Excel (Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP) as well as use of the Internet. Ability to learn and implement other programs quickly and efficiently. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
