Description We are offering a role that involves working in the construction/contractor industry, located in San Francisco, California. This role will primarily involve performing the functions of a Staff Accountant. Entry level Staff Accountant position at a well-established San Francisco mechanical subcontracting company with a busy office environment.Main Responsibilities:
Post A/R invoices
Prepare unconditional progress and final waivers
Research/resolve billing discrepancies
Review timecard entries for proper job costing
Enter contracts and change orders
Produce maintenance invoices
Reconcile monthly credit card statements
Update monthly out of stock
Prepare various journal entries
Update pre-qual questionnaires
Assist in quarterly use tax return
Assist in quarterly and year end close process
Textura compliance/wrap up compliance
Light clerical duties – phone support, filing, mailing and copying
Special projects as needed
