The company aims to achieve superior risk-adjusted returns through a portfolio of value-enhancing strategies. They are seeking a Senior Fund Accountant for their San Francisco office who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of finance, accounting, and partnership taxation.Some responsibilities include:

Maintain Fund and GP general ledgers including, but not limited, to recording of quarterly expense, accruals and intercompany payables/receivables, investment transactions and allocations to limited partners

Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements

Work with the finance management team to ensure accurate and timely audit and tax filings by coordinating with various outside service providers, researching technical tax and accounting issues as needed, and assisting with the overall audit and tax process internally and externally

Monitor cash position for assigned Funds

Requirements

Key Requirements Include:

3-5 years’ experience in Accounting/Fund Accounting or straight from public Audit with investment management client exposure.

Open to straight out of public

Degree in Accounting, Business, or Econ

CPA or on their way to becoming a CPA is a plus

Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment

Excellent time management / organizational skills
