Event Planner

We’re looking for a highly-organized and results-driven Event Planner to join our team, working within our Event Services group which provides event management nd operations as-a-service for open source projects and foundations hosted here at the LF. This position reports to an Event Manager and will own various logistical responsibilities while collaborating as part of a larger team, along with fully owning the successful production and delivery of some smaller events.The ideal candidate must be an event professional with a minimum of 4 years events experience, strong strategic and tactical skills, and the ability to successfully execute events and programs, both on their own and with a team.The position requires overnight and weekend travel to events both domestically and internationally (30%).
