Skilled Construction Demolition Labor/ Lead

Job Title: Demolition/ Lead

Reports To: Foreman

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Summary: Responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of junk removal and demolition tasks at jobsites by performing the following duties. Required to have working U.S telephone and vehicle.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned

1. Conducts demolition tasks, including but not limited to removing fixtures, walls, interior components, etc

2. Operates hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely as necessary

3. Follows safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a secure working environment

4. Removes and disposes of debris and waste materials generated during demolition

5. Sorts and salvages materials for recycling or reuse

6. Maintains a tools and equipment in good working condition and report any issues promptly

7. Communicates and collaborates with the team to meet project timelines and deadlines

8. Maintains cleanliness and safety standards at the job site

9. Loads debris securely into dump trucks and dumpsters

10. Performs other related duties as assigned

Education/Experience:

Experience in construction/demolition preferred

Equipment:

Hand tools, power tools

Jackhammer

Wheelbarrows

Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Team player attitude, receptive to safe and prompt direction

Must have reliable transportation and be able to commute to various locations within the greater San Diego area
