Electrical Estimator/Project Manager
Swinson Electric is looking for an individual to manage projects and people and prepare electrical estimates in the local San Diego market…But not just anyone…The person we are looking for has pride in their work, their accomplishments, pride in being part of a team doing great things. This individual understands profitability, productivity, time management, quality standards and can back that up with experience and work history. We are looking for that individual who treats every project as though it was their own.
Description of duties:
-Major focus on business development and coordination with General Contractors and Property Managers.
-Knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems
-Knowledge of the current California Title 24 requirements
-Good written and oral communication skills and customer interaction
-Ability to take jobs from bid to project completion
-Develop and manage crews, materials, vendors and any entity connected to the projects
-Ability to negotiate, develop and relay job information to field foremen
-Drive department profitability through effective and thorough project execution
-Electrical Bid Manager software knowledge a plus
-Knowledge of the local area a plus
