Job description
Responsibilities:
- Assess and estimate the cost of repairs for damaged vehicles in the body shop
- Communicate with customers to explain the repair process and provide accurate estimates
- Collaborate with mechanics and technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Create detailed repair orders and maintain accurate records of all repairs
- Coordinate with insurance companies to process claims and obtain necessary approvals
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and ensuring satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in auto body repair or related field
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques and processes
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with customers
- Proficient in service writing and estimating software
- Cash handling experience is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- I Car Certified
