Bellwether Mechanical Systems, Inc is a commercial (HVAC) mechanical company that is growing and looking for an experienced HVAC/R Service Technician to join our team. We service, maintain, replace and construct all commercial levels of mechanical equipment, including controls systems.
Job Duties:
Trouble shoot, diagnose, repair, maintain, analyze environmental conditions, forecast potential issues, apply local HVAC codes in a practical manner, provide technical support to other team members (as needed), installation of low voltage wiring, and knowledge of HVAC controls. Job duties will be performed on cooling towers, boilers, pumps, VFDs, chillers, WSHPs, splits systems, package units, four-pipe fan coils, VAVs, and VRF systems.
Experience:
5+ years’ experience in commercial HVAC service preferred
EPA Certification (preferred)
VRF knowledge is a plus
Good communication skills
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, various types of drawings
Clean DMV record and a valid California Driver’s License
Ability to safely lift to 50 lbs.
Climb and balance on a ladder, and work in elevated/high locations in hot/cold conditions
Basic hand tools and meter
Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills
May be required to perform after-hours calls within a rotation
