Job Description:
The Commercial HVAC Service Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in commercial facilities. This role requires a deep understanding of commercial HVAC systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities:
Perform installations, maintenance, and repairs on a wide variety of commercial HVAC systems.
Diagnose and repair issues with HVAC equipment including furnaces, air conditioning units, Air Handling Units, VAV(s), Hydronic Systems and ventilation systems.
Conduct regular preventative maintenance checks to ensure systems are running efficiently and safely.
Respond to service calls and emergency situations in a timely and professional manner.
Provide technical support and recommendations to clients on the optimal use and care of their HVAC systems.
Keep detailed records of all services performed, parts used, and work hours logged.
Stay current with the latest HVAC technologies and service techniques.
Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician, specifically in the commercial sector.
In-depth knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and equipment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Availability for on-call, emergency service rotations, and occasional overtime.
EPA Certification for refrigerant handling.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in HVAC repair and maintenance is highly preferred.
