HVAC Service Technician - MUST HAVE AT LEAST 4-5 YEARS EXPERIENCE This is not an entry level position
Job Duties:
Perform service calls and maintenance calls scheduled by Dispatcher
Capable of troubleshooting service issues, writing up repair descriptions for the department estimator, and performing preventive maintenance
Maintains HVAC systems by diagnosing, repairing/replacing compressors, condenser motors, evaporator motors, metering devices, temperature and humidity controls, fans, control panels, switches, fuses, filters, gauges, ducts, tubing, and related components, and completing power connections
Tests and repairs HVAC systems by operating the systems, identifying malfunctions, and repairing or replacing parts and components
Document actions by completing service tickets and filling out equipment and chemical records
Maintain truck inventory
Job Requirements:
5 or more years’ experience in system start-up, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance/repair of commercial/industrial HVAC and process systems.
Experience with refrigeration systems, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, supply and exhaust fans, air handling units, package units, split A/C systems, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and boilers
Able to work with minimal supervision and be responsible for maintaining service requirements and customer relations
Must be able to read drawings, blueprints, and work well in a team setting
EPA certification
Valid driver’s license and good driving record are required
Additional Skills/Qualifications Desired:
Prefer Associates Degree and/or equivalent trade school training and appropriate experience
Experience with pneumatic, DDC and/or PLC systems

Salary: $28.00 - $42.00 per hour DOE

8-hour daily shift (Mon. – Fri.) plus overtime
Rotating on-call schedule (approximately every 90 days)
