At Sid's Carpet Barn we are looking for a highly motivated person that wants to work with an energetic team that strives to provide outstanding customer service as well as an amazing work experience. Someone with flooring knowledge and sales history is a plus.
We are Looking for the following:
Experience: At least one year or more of Sales experience in floor covering sales is welcomed but not required. We are willing to train the right person.
Ability to interact with diverse groups of people, communicate effectively and build relationships with customers and their staff.
Someone who is energetic and motivated to better themselves.
Someone who continuously strives to grow their sales and customer relationships.
Someone who can keep effective notes on customers along with having good follow through skills.
Someone who will represent our company, along with the products and services we sell, with a positive and Can-Do/Will-Do attitude
Assist in other tasks and duties assigned by management related to your position
Other skills required:
Basic Math skills.
Attention to detail.
Strong computer skills with proficiency using windows, excel, outlook, & word, etc.
Responsibilities
· Meet customers on site to help determine the type, quality and quantity of flooring needed for their project.
· Prepare proposals, order samples and materials in conjunction with our staff as needed.
· Follow-up promptly and professionally with customers on all requests or problems.
· Write up orders, collect payments, manage the process of delivery of materials and oversee each sale to assure customer receives a 5-star experience throughout the entire process.
· Answer phones and return email and voice mail requests whenever possible and in a timely manner.
The compensation for this job is a salary plus commission with the possibility of earning additional bonuses.
