OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE; Garage Doors – Residential
We are a family-owned Garage Door Service and Installation Company serving customers for over 15 years and continuing to grow. We are searching for a professional salesperson who can drive Garage Door Sales and Service in the San Diego, Orange County, and Temecula areas.
You are ready and eager to manage and grow a sales territory and create a strong sales team, and loyal customers. As a Garage Door Sales representative, you retain customer relationships, meet all garage door requests, and ensure that customers receive outstanding service from all our departments.
Job tasks, duties, and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Act as a brand name ambassador with a clean appearance, crisp communication skills, and professional conduct.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive sales program that can meet company goals for short-term and long-term sales growth.
Implement and create sales strategies and models, utilizing industry best practices and proven methods.
Be the industry leader in new customer integration from the initial point of contact through job completion, while maintaining the highest quality of service and best possible customer experience.
Attend sales meetings, training, and industry events, and keep up to date with industry trends and methods.
Ability and willingness to read and comprehend documents, manuals, policies, and procedures, where it applies to internal operations as well as our products and services.
Ability to learn and exhibit a high level of competency with modern equipment and software, including but not limited to tablets, cell phones, word processing, spreadsheets, and email.
Establish and maintain customer contacts with new sales areas and demographics such as HOAs and property managers.
Be an integral part of the service process, from the initial point of contact through estimations, verifications, and follow-ups.
Foster cooperation and teamwork between all company departments, while supporting team members and peers to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Able to follow and adhere to established guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications include:
Personal Vehicle
High school or equivalent
At least two years of sales experience are required.
Competency with basic mathematic and verbal communication skills
Customer Service experience
Reliable and self-motivated
Excellent time management skills
Able to work indoors as well as outdoors in various weather conditions
Able to physically work with industry tools while following proper guidance and instruction.
Able to physically perform repetitive tasks such as standing, lifting, reaching, bending, climbing, and kneeling.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds on a regular basis and on occasion up to 75 pounds.
