We are seeking an experienced Computer Repair Technician with proven professional experience working for a company performing computer system repairs, including board-level troubleshooting and repair. This is not an entry-level "computer builder" role. The ideal candidate will have a background diagnosing, repairing, and restoring systems for enterprise or industrial clients and will bring strong technical knowledge and hands-on expertise.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair computer hardware systems down to board-level issues.
Perform advanced diagnostics on components, including motherboards, power supplies, and peripheral electronics.
Document repairs, parts used, and maintain detailed service logs.
Work with engineering and support teams to resolve complex hardware issues.
Ensure all repairs meet company quality and reliability standards.
Requirements:
Must have past professional experience with a company performing system and board-level computer repairs.
Strong knowledge of electronics troubleshooting and repair tools.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation.
Solid understanding of hardware diagnostics processes.
Detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and documentation abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous work in a manufacturing, defense, or electronics repair environment.
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, IPC, or equivalent.
Soldering/rework experience at the component level.
