Hello Thank you for checking out our job post! As a family-owned candy shop, our cute candy store is located in beautiful Seaport Village, just a few steps away from the bay. Our shop is fun and colorful and we always have oldies playing on the boombox! We are looking for a sweet individual who's punctual, dependable, and can work part-time: shifts are Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
The position is for an efficient, courteous cashier with excellent customer service skills. We are looking for a sales associate who is responsible, attentive to customer needs, committed to providing excellent service, and someone who can work solo or in a group setting.
Cashier Responsibilities:
Welcoming customers, answering their questions, helping them locate items, and providing advice or recommendations.
Operating cash registers, and other electronics.
Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and cash sales.
Accepting payments, and ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate.
Bagging or wrapping purchases to ensure safe transport.
Following all store procedures and maintaining a clean workspace with basic cleaning tasks.
Cashier Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Customer service or cashier experience.
Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
High level of energy with strong customer service skills.
Basic math and computer skills.
Ability to stand, walk, lift, and work with other team members in a fast-paced environment to provide excellent service.
