Store Cashier / Clerk Needed
We are currently seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our family-owned store as a Store Cashier / Clerk. This position is part-time, with shifts scheduled on Saturdays, Mondays, and Tuesdays from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers with a friendly and positive attitude
Ring up purchases accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system
Handle cash and card transactions with precision
Sweep floors regularly to maintain cleanliness
Keep the store organized and neat by restocking bins and arranging merchandise
Assist with other tasks as needed to ensure smooth store operations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station and store front
Assist customers with inquiries and provide exceptional service
Requirements:
Prior experience in cashiering or customer service preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling
Availability to work on Saturdays, Mondays, and Tuesdays from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Must have a clean background check
Must pass a drug test
Reliability and punctuality are essential; if you are someone who frequently calls off work, this job is not for you
Compensation:
Hourly pay rate: $18.50
