San Diego Bike Rentals is hiring! This brand new rental shop in north Mission Beach is a premier spot for maximizing fun for the local and visiting communities. We are looking for fun loving, active and positive individuals that would enjoy helping others have fun.
We rent bikes, surfboards, skates, sand equipment and much more. You must be ready for a physically active workplace where equipment is often moved, maintained and inspected. You must also be willing to get dirty, greasy, wet and sandy. You will also be handling our point-of-sale system including cash and credit card transactions.
Our customers come from all over the world and are generally, usually, in a good mood. Customer service is of high value so we favor candidates that have strong interpersonal skills with a service-minded attitude. Knowledge about the equipment we rent and the local beach areas is a plus.
All shifts are full day shifts but we are flexible on scheduling and frequency. Overtime hours is possible. Various holiday and weekend availability is a strong plus.
Pay begins at minimum wage and tips are frequently earned. Surf/beach breaks are available and encouraged.
