Administrator and Payroll Clerk to help out in a small CPA/EA tax firm office
Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role is a plus but not required.
Quickbooks experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided
General office tasks and excellent organizational skills are required
Independent worker, problem solver, honest, reliable, work in a casual friendly office.
Must have reliable transportation.
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, strong computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
A willing learner, adaptable to new tasks, processes, and software programs.
Responsible, reliable, and accountable with a strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent phone and communication etiquette
Prior experience in an administrative role is preferred, but not required
High level of confidentiality and professionalism
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist clients in person and via phone/email.
Manage client communications
Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar.
Clerical support
Organize and maintain confidential client records and documentation.
Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the office
Process payroll hours, on-the-job training, will be provided
