Supports Quality Control unit with day to day tasks that include but are not limited to sampling of raw materials, packaging materials, log-keeping, and label control: storage, filing, dispensing and inventory.

JOB DUTIES

Keeps inventory of labels: check-in, identification, quarantine, and release of labels meant for finished products.

Sampling, inspection, and release of labels according to standard operating procedures.

Updates label Master Specification sheets as needed.

Issues appropriate Label Use Consent Forms as needed.

Communicates with sales department regarding label inventory.

Disbursing labels to production personnel when needed according to GMP procedures.

Keeps track of inventory of labels that need to be destroyed.

Identifies unusable labels, issues destruction consent forms for customers, and keeps destruction logs up to date.

Keeps label warehouse clean and organized.

Filing: Master manufacturing records, completed batch records, label control documents, raw material records.

Scanning documents as needed.

Updating SOP Index as needed (every time a procedure is updated).

Updating SOP books to make sure all books around the facility contain the most updated versions of the procedures.

Updating Forms Index as needed.

Scheduling calibrations for small equipment

Gathering documentation from document control as requested by other departments. Keeping “document control” logs updated.

Updating monthly sanitation schedules from production, retrieve old ones from production department for review.

Retrieve Temperature monitoring devices and upload data to PC.

Keep track of scales in production area making sure all are up to calibration.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

Highschool Diploma

Bilingual a plus (English/Spanish)

Adept in technology, proficient in word, excel and adobe.

Good organizational skills

Good verbal and written communication

Most of all, must have a strong work ethic, be energetic, self-motivated and have the initiative for quality and superior service.

Environmental Working Conditions & Physical Effort:

Job requires frequent lifting and carrying of objects/containers of up to 25lbs.

Job requires walking around warehouse settings.

Job requires standing up and/or sitting for long periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person - this job is not remote

Salary: From $23.00 - $27.00 per hour DOE
