The main responsibility for Electrical Engineer/ Electrical Computer Engineer will be responsible for developing processes and procedures for the electronic devices utilized in the manufacturing processes. This includes schematics, wiring diagrams, hardware layouts, wire harness drawings and any other documentation needed to successfully assemble Creative Electron products to improve manufacturing efficiency.
This position also requires close interaction with the Software Department as is necessary to implement programming changes and general system troubleshooting both for Manufacturing and Service. Design and customize specific hardware requirements for custom applications.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
● Experience using CAD software for electrical design
● Ability to consistently produce clean, efficient work instructions for system assembly
● Ability to create and modify PLC programs required to operate equipment
● Ability to integrate new hardware components and assist software in implementation
● Ability to troubleshoot and upgrade existing hardware and software
● Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
● Excellent in research, design, development, and testing of operating systems-level software, program logic controllers and CAD tools essential for electrical documentation
● Collaborative mindset and willingness to recommend and execute improvements
● Eagerness to explore new products and features that will add value to the product and provide implementation schedules
● Ability to work individually or with other developers
● Provide guidance and direction to Manufacturing on electronic best practices
● Ensure Manufacturing is trained properly on electronics safety and assembly
● Familiarity with Python or C, and robotics

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
● BS/BA in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
● Working knowledge of program logic controllers
● Working knowledge of electrical design best practices
● Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment
● Experience using CAD software to create wiring diagrams and schematics
● Troubleshooting and repair of electronic equipment
● Ability and willingness to learn new technologies
● Skilled in successful time management
● Experience with robotics is preferred

Effective ability to communicate orally or in written form effectively with co-management, internal and external customers.
