JOB SUMMARY:
The Assembler Technician will manufacture, inspect devices, and pack according to specifications for the various industries.
HOURS: Mon-Thu, 9am-3pm (24 hours a week, flexible)
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assembles small parts to specifications, packaging, making parts, gluing, bending wires, handling liquids, and more according to directions.
Shipping and receiving daily activities or as needed.
Uses various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
Maintains and cleans equipment and performs basic repairs when needed.
Inventories tools, parts, and supplies; contacts materials handler if supplies are needed.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Must have visual acuity to perform essential job functions with accuracy, precision, and thoroughness.
Must have adequate hand-eye coordination to perform the task assigned with precision and accuracy.
Ability to complete a task with precision and accuracy using hand tools.
Must be a self-starter, organized and ability to maintain a clean workspace and environment.
Dependable, punctual and ability to follow directions.
Works well as a productive member of a team and independently.
Must be flexible to move from one task to a new task as required by the business and comfortable with repetitive tasks.
Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment.
Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Ability to communicate with vendors and/or answer phone calls if needed.
Comfortable with deliver or pick up of supplies and/or packages.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent required.
