Immediate full time position
Established, busy sign company is seeking a reliable and experienced Graphic Artist/ Production Associate. Must have experience in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Other Software experience like InDesign, Corel Draw, Flexi Sign for example is a plus. You must be able to complete production design, as well as conceptual design. Applicable knowledge of signage production of all types including laying vinyl and digital prints on various substrates is preferred. You must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously through all stages of approval/production processes.
2 years of graphic design experience minimum, as well as large format printer experience is required. Experience in a sign shop setting is preferred.
You must be a self-starter with good people skills. Additionally, you must be able to meet tight deadlines and ensure products are finished on time while maintaining quality. If you have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, and are interested in the opportunity for growth - this may be the position for you.
Responsibilities:
Set up and provide proofs for all shop jobs.
Sign layout, printing, vinyl cutting and weeding as well as all phases of production.
Digital file set-up and printing on large format printers.
Assisting with customer service duties.
Compensation based upon experience.
