Looking for one or two people to help my litigation practice in the Del Mar Area. Work is mostly remote. Work will include law and motion research and drafting of motions, drafting of complaints, demand letters, and drafting of discovery. Applicant needs to know how to prepare and serve proofs of service and work with attorney service. Samples will be provided if needed. Must have State Court experience in filing and discovery practice. Federal Court experience not necessary, but would be nice. Also must have knowledge of Court filings, calendaring court and meeting dates, setting up Court Team and zoom calls, and miscellaneous other office tasks including responding to client emails, mailing of letters and checks, responding to phone calls, working with vendors, etc. Work can be done mostly remote with some in person meetings for delivery of files, review and questions on a case and work product. Must be proficient at typing, Adobe, Time59, and detail oriented.
Applicants can be post bar or a new lawyer/paralegal. Hourly wage depends on experience, but generally from $35-$60 an hour.
