PARALEGAL - Busy Medical Malpractice Defense law firm is looking to add an experienced Litigation Paralegal. Must have a minimum of TWO years of experience with civil litigation and be able to handle a busy case load. This position requires the paralegal to be self-sufficient and able to document the work performed on their cases. Prior experience in the following areas is required: subpoena medical records, perform legal research, perform expert witness searches, prepare cases for trial (including drafting jury instructions and witness and exhibit lists), and participation with attorneys during the discovery and issue spotting processes. The ideal candidate should be extremely proactive, motivated, energetic, deadline-oriented, and an independent critical thinker. Also MUST have a paralegal certificate.
