A national law firm providing legal services to financial insitutions seeks a Litigation Associate for their Southern California operations. This role is 100% remote but candidates must be in Southern California. The Associate Attorney will be working on collection and litigation matters related totheFair Debt Collections Practices Act (“FDCPA”) and Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code (“UCC”) Position requires (a) an active license to practice law in California. Experience withtheFair Debt Collections Practices Act (“FDCPA”) and Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code (“UCC”) is preferred but not required. Annual billable hour requirement of 1920. Position includes excellent benefits, a base salary ($70,000-109,000 DOE) and bonus.salary: $70,000 - $109,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5 PMeducation: DoctoralResponsibilities Handle breach of contract and collection litigation matters from demand through judgment. Attend court hearings (both telephonic and in person). Prepare and argue Motions for Summary Judgment. Manage assigned case load in manner that meets goals and client expectations. Handle escalated and time sensitive matters as needed.
