As the Commercial Mover, you’ll be responsible for:
Packing up desks, offices, and fragile items
Relocating business equipment and workspaces
Disassembling partitions, and commercial furniture
Operating small power tools and equipment supplied by MEK Enterprises.
Loading and driving a moving truck or van to relocate items to the destination location
Using various small tools to disassemble and reassemble furniture and portable walls.
If you have installation experience such as light construction or carpentry, we want to talk with you!
If you have experience as a driver (Class A, B, or C) such as driving box trucks, vans, and larger trucks, we want to talk with you!
Our team members take pride in their work, and it shows! You’ll learn from the team how to be efficient and effective in your strategy of packing and moving commercially.
Besides the skills needed, we want you to:
Be able to comfortably interact in a friendly manner with the general public and with other members of our
moving teams

Ideally, if you have previous experience in commercial packing and moving tasks or in installing equipment and furniture as well as comfortable handling small hand and power tools effectively and safely. Besides heavy lifting, organizational skills and being conscientious about time management is key to completing these projects on time and under budget. The job also requires the ability to speak, read, and comprehend basic instructions in English, compose short correspondence, and understand verbal instructions, policy documents and the ability to read/follow directions.
This job is great for those who are physically active. To do your job well, you’ll need the ability to frequently bend, twist, walk, lift, carry, and stand for extended periods of time as well as to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
This job requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend basic instructions in English, compose short correspondence, and understand verbal instructions, policy documents and the ability to read/follow directions.
This job has variable work hours, and schedules that may change with little advanced notice, and offers flexibility of weekdays, weekends, evenings, plus offers overtime hours with supervisor approval.
