As the Commercial Janitor, you’ll be responsible for:
Cleaning various restrooms for our contracted municipal clients
Using various cleaning supplies provided by MEK Enterprises
Emptying trash and light dusting as directed by clients
Using PPE to clean areas involving bodily fluids
Applying methods to ensure restrooms are loaded with supplies
Operating cleaning equipment and tools to ensure quality cleaning
Maintain assigned areas to ensure consistent cleaning standards
Preparing facilities for public use
Cleaning and disinfect surfaces of floors, countertops, walls, fixtures, grates and windows
Other related duties as assigned

It is helpful if you have previous experience in professional cleaning tasks such as removing dust, dirt, debris, stains, and trash, but it's not required. If you're conscientious, willing to learn and have high standards of a work ethic, apply!

This job is great for those who are physically active. To do your job well, you’ll need the ability to frequently bend, twist, walk, lift, carry, and stand for extended periods of time as well as to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
This job requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend basic instructions in English, compose short correspondence, and understand verbal instructions, policy documents, product warning labels, and the ability to read/follow directions.
This job has variable work hours, and schedules that may change with little advanced notice, and offers flexibility of weekdays, weekends, evenings, plus offers overtime hours with supervisor approval.
