GENERAL PURPOSE
The Life Enrichment Associate Assists with the planning and implementation of resident activity programs on a daily basis. This includes, but is not limited to, creating monthly activity calendars and resident bios, escorting residents on outings, and assisting with mealtime. The Life Enrichment associate creates moments of joy for individuals with cognitive decline. The life enrichment associate contributes ideas and implements programing for creative outings, sensory stimulation, physical activity and other activities necessary for a full and engaging lifestyle.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma, GED or educational equivalent required.
Experience: Previous experience working with older adults and/or persons with memory-impairing diseases is
desirable.
Other: Must have valid driver license, good driving record, and current auto insurance. Ability to read, write and
speak English. Must be comfortable working in an environment with pets and assisting in the care of community
pets, including, but not limited to, dogs and cats. Willing to demonstrate passion and ability to work with people
with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia-related disease.
