Job Summary
As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment for all patrons and staff by enforcing rules, de-escalating conflicts, monitoring crowd behavior, and managing entry. You’ll be the first line of defense in ensuring our bar-restaurant remains a secure and enjoyable place for everyone.
Responsibilities
Greet guests at the entrance and verify age identification to ensure legal drinking age
Monitor the premises to prevent and respond to disturbances or unsafe behavior
De-escalate conflicts calmly and professionally when necessary
Enforce house rules and local safety laws
Escort disruptive individuals off the premises when appropriate
Conduct regular interior and exterior security checks throughout the shift
Communicate with management and local authorities when needed
Assist in emergency situations (e.g., fire, medical incidents, evacuation)
Regular cleaning and maitenence of restrooms and tables
Requirements
Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or a similar role (preferred)
Valid security license or guard card (if required by state/local law)
Excellent observation and conflict-resolution skills
Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and intervene if necessary
Availability on nights, weekends, and holidays
